Looking for a wedding planner, rentals, or day of coordinator? Jami is your WOMAN! She is a wedding wizard and so incredibly talented at her job. Her offerings are endless. Calligraphy, beautifully crafted and curated rentals for events, planning, coordination etc. We are so lucky Lakeside at Welch Estate paired us with Jami for our big day. She put us at ease, took care of every day of detail, and effortlessly created the wedding I had always imagined. She is so sweet and lovely to work with. Answers your last minute panicked text messages and brings you coffee!?!!! She is a gem inside and out. 10 out of 10!!!

After attending a friend's birthday celebration decorated and hosted by Jami, we knew she would be a great resource as we were winding down to our special day. Jami met with the bride a month out to go over the vision for our (two) day wedding celebration, and not only took incredible notes but offered tons of feedback. She was so excited to take on a "Modern/Minimal" couple and was ready for the challenge of "something new". She even took our to-do list and helped identify which items she was ready to tackle each day. Prior to the wedding days, Jami helped us coordinate our venue and two vendors (wedding bouquet designer and DJ), and even received all the glassware and florals for our DIY celebration centerpieces.
On the first big day, Jami helped keep us on schedule, fixed details during our photoshoots, and even drove the bride to our first-look photoshoot in a freshly detailed car! At our intimate wedding venue, she handled our small guest list with grace and a welcoming smile, and handled every tiny detail right up until the ceremony and dinner with a spring in her step. She even kept an eye on a little one when they started to run a fever/had to sit out during dinner so our family could enjoy the evening without worry. We even arrived to the sweetest gifts in our wedding suite, with personal details that demonstrated her love and adoration for us as a couple (not just as her clients).
On our Celebration day, with a larger guest list and DJ, she and her husband helped pick up cakes, managed all the comings/goings of vendors, set up the floral centerpieces, made last minute hand lettered signs for the desert table, and prepared the sweetest emergency kits for the restroom...This list could go on! During the event, she ushered guests to the food line, played "matchmaker" as she combined tables and brought our friends closer together. She did every single task we agreed on and then some, and all with such enthusiasm. Even our family members and friends continue to compliment about her kindness, her organization skills, her ease. From our first meeting, to the two big days and each and every panicked text conversation in between, we can't speak highly enough about Jami and this business. We could not have pulled off our big day without her.

Let me start by saying that after I was initially engaged, I was 1000% positive that as a female who is extremely organized and excels at multitasking that I felt I could handle the planning of my wedding day. Thank god for a mother who ultimately talked me into hiring a planner for not only day of, month of, but the whole kit n’ caboodle AND LOOKING BACK LADIES- IT WAS WORTH IT AND SO MUCH MORE. No one could have foreseen a pandemic and especially the year my wedding was planned for. When I tell you that Jami was by my side every step of the way, I mean she would literally make herself available at all times. Never once did I feel like she pushed her own personal agenda on me. There were months when I was over the idea of planning a COVID wedding and she was on board. Three days later, Id change my mind and wanted to completely restart the process- and again- she was there. She gave space when needed (and was intellectual enough to know when) and provided guidance and structure when she could tell I needed it too. She assumed all roles, wore more hats than I can count and for that, the value outweighed the cost, time and time again. I promise you that just as important as your wedding dress is on your big day is also how you wear your attitude and how you show up poised and calm- and there is no way I could have been present and in the moment if it wasn’t for Jami. My wedding day had the remnants of a hurricane and literally up to the hour of my wedding, we were coordinating a few changes. Jami did it with absolute poise, strength, guidance, HEART AND PASSION. She was deliberate in every move she made months before, weeks before, but most importantly day of. She worked so hard to make my day the incredible day it was and truly, her value was something I will never regret investing in. If I can give one piece of advice, it is, HIRE A PLANNER. And not just any planner, but Jami Pollnow. That smile, those bouncing red curls, that knock out energy, its hard to find but its right here for the taking and you will not be disappointed. We hired Jami as a "day of" planner for our daughter's September wedding. Her "day of" work included a lot BEFORE "the day!" She met with us well before the wedding to discuss our plans and how she would help. She also was part of our last meeting with vendors (venue, tent people, caterer) to help finalize our arrangements. And she orchestrated the ceremony rehearsal the day before. On the wedding day - Jami worked ALL DAY & NIGHT to make sure everything happened as planned - she added several of her own touches (e.g. signs for parking, table for ceremony programs), and even her husband helped! They helped with with tables, flowers, caterers, music, ceremony set up, etc. She was available throughout the evening (in person or by text) to deal with any issues (like timing of dinner, feeding the band, father/daughter dance, & running out of Gin)! Jami was on top of everything, and I was truly able to sit back and enjoy a beautiful event and have a lot of fun too! Thank you Jami!

Jami is nothing short of AMAZING. She was incredibly helpful in every step of the way leading up to our wedding day. She definitely has a special eye for organization and creativity. I loved watching her beautiful ideas for our ceremony and reception come to life… She was on top of every detail. We felt confident going into our day because she gave us amazing guidance, and kept everyone and everything on schedule. She was extremely professional and prepared for anything (we had a downpour of rain ALL day on wedding day) but she stayed calm and collected, which eased any nerves we had, and helped ensure we enjoyed every minute of our wedding. She provided the cutest umbrellas for the whole bridal party, she held my dress for me any time we needed to walk in or outside, and she surprised me with a few small decor items from her personal collection to help warm up my ceremony & reception areas. I truly felt like Jami was not just my coordinator on the wedding day, but also a great friend. I can't recommend her highly enough and hope you choose to work with her for your special day as well. Jami came all the way to Peru to help make my wedding day as special as possible. She helped coordinate all of the finishing touches that made my wedding romantic and perfect down to every last detail. Jami was truly a blessing to us both before, during, and after our wedding. She has a backbone of steel, and was a driving force in keeping us to schedule during our engagement. I love that she is willing to be involved as you want her to be, and willing to walk you through different options for your day.
She never lacks in whimsical suggestions, and always delivers a Pinterest worthy finish. She added such a layer of character to our wedding with handletteredsigns, and helped execute some of my wild DIY ideas in a glamorous way. One moment that stands out to both my new husband and I , is when Jami made certain that we took a moment for ourselves before the festivities started. Looking back, we were very thankful to have that time together. The rest of the day is inevitably going to be a blur of people pulling your attention in every possible direction. As soon as I contacted Jami to be our day of coordinator, six months prior to the wedding, she was enthusiastically involved every step of the way. What really left an impression on us was Jami's attention to detail. She took her personal time to sit down with us and give us crucial guidance on how to practically and creatively make our wedding dreams a reality and work with us to discover which of her rental elements would perfectly suit our vision. She paid attention to us and what we wanted but she also used her experience and knowledge to help us understand what we needed. Honestly, enough cannot be said about Jami & Will when it comes to the wedding day. Jami worked tirelessly the night before and the day of to organize EVERY element. From coordinating the setup and transition for ceremony and reception to communicating with vendors and making sure all of our desired elements were in place, she never missed a beat and was on top of everything. Where to even begin?! Jami was absolutely amazing throughout our (Covid) wedding planning process. From the late night freak out texts to the phone calls planning our big day, she made our entire vision reality! With the last minute rainy forecast, she completely transformed our reception area to accommodate what was supposed to be an outdoor ceremony and I have zero regrets! Not only did she make sure our entire day run smoothly, she maintained our time schedule (which was even AHEAD of schedule some of the time) without us feeling rushed from one thing to the next. We worked with Jami on our wedding using her top tier/most involved package because 1) we lived 3 hours away from our venue 2) neither of us knew anything about weddings 3) I'm not the kind of girl that's been mentally planning this life event since I was a kid. We started from scratch to say the least. We met Jami via our venue and did not know her personally beforehand so please know this is a completely professional review. Let me tell you all..utilizing Jami's skills is some of THE BEST money you can spend. She respected us as individuals and didn't make us conform to industry/social standards and helped us stay on track. Wedding planning is a big deal and it can be really stressful for the couple and family...she definitely helped me manage our stress. Jami was consistently positive and affirmative when others told me I was in trouble because I hadn't bought a dress a year ago which I found incredibly valuable. She's literally a ray of sunshine and I'm pretty sure she would work well with any set of personalities. Jami was always in our corner, had our best interest at heart, and goes the extra mile. The weekend of our event she was engaged with our guests and they couldn't have loved her more. EVERYONE commented on how amazing she was personally, handling the stray kids, and working diligently. We would hire her again in a heart beat.

After having met Jami to be our Day of Coordinator for our wedding, I said to my husband-to-be, “aside from choosing to marry you, choosing Jami was the best decision I made”. From our first meeting she was enthusiastic, organized, ready with the right questions, positive, and excited to get to work. She was a breath of fresh air and immediately took a lot of the stress off of me. While we hired her for just day of, she was doing so much for us for a few months before. She was a liaison between our caterer and vendors and helped with our timeline. She completely understood my vision and added certain touches that she thought went with my aesthetic that were perfect. She did all of the hand lettering for all of the signage which were all on boards or mirrors she already owned and offered to let us use. The day of she moved around gracefully with not an air of stress or anxiety and a lot of my guests even commented on how wonderful she was because she was there but always on the outskirts, paying attention to everything. She kept everything on schedule and checked in with us 5 minutes before we needed to be somewhere or do something. She kept me calm, and that was worth everything. A couple of days before the wedding I was having a hard day and she picked up on that and brought me a basket with goodies to help me relax- that describes Jami. I could go on and on about her, but I’ll end by saying, hiring Jami will be the best decision you ever made.

Jami was, in one word, incredible. My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams because of her work. I truly don’t know how she did it, but she made our vision of what we wanted our wedding day to look like (from the ceremony to the reception) a reality and was absolutely wonderful to work with! Luckily, we hired Jami early on in our wedding planning process, so she was with us every step of the way. This was crucial for us because we were trying to plan a Downtown Fredericksburg wedding from Arkansas and Arizona, since my husband and I are both military. Jami truly calmed our nerves and helped us immensely with finding amazing vendors, attending appointments for us, and planning all the details. She even drove up to Fredericksburg from Richmond when we were in town visiting family for a few days to bring us cupcakes for our cake tasting from SweetFix in Richmond and went with us to our florist appointment.
What we loved most about Jami was how friendly and easy-going she is, and how when it came down to business and planning, she was always on top of everything (and a million steps ahead of us). She also worked with family members when we couldn’t be there to help us check things off of our wedding to-do list. Jami has such a wealth of knowledge about the wedding industry in general, and ensured that everyone was on the same page when it came to our wedding. One of the things that meant the most to my husband and me was the fact that she added so many personal touches to our wedding. She is so creative and made our day one that was so “us.” It was truly beautiful.
Throughout all of the months that we worked with Jami, she was always available and responsive. And, on the day of the wedding, Jami ensured that our ceremony venue (Church) and our reception venue was beautifully decorated, our timeline was followed, our guests were attended to, and that everything went smoothly. I can’t imagine what our Wedding day would’ve been without her. We were able to enjoy and celebrate our special day without having to stress about what was happening with the vendors or venue because of Jami. We enjoyed working with her every step of the way! Both my husband and I strongly recommend Jami!

Jami and Christine were absolutely amazing on our wedding day this past week! I am naturally an anxious person, but I had zero stress knowing Jami was in control. We met her late in the process of wedding planning but she jumped right in without missing a beat. We also had pouring rain the entire morning, causing us to default to plan B for the ceremony, but these girls made our indoor space breathtakingly beautiful. I would recommend them again and again.
